RSM Coloproctology Section and Western Australia Joint Meeting
7 Nov 2020
CANCELLED due to the current COVID-19 situation.
Bringing together colorectal surgeons from the UK and Western Australia in one platform, this is an opportunity to interact and compare practices and outcomes between the two countries.
Join internationally recognised experts to discuss issues around introduction of innovative techniques that have resulted in problems surrounding the use of mesh, along with the environmental impact of modern surgery. This will be a content-packed day, starting with a focus on colorectal cancer, and shifting to exploring advances in robotic technology, genomics and inflammatory bowel disease management that will have an impact on coloproctology in the immediate future.
There will also be a session devoted to trainee research presentations and discussion of the work presented, and the day will end with an interactive panel discussion of difficult cases. Plus a tour of the Fiona Stanley Hospital, a new state of the art hospital complex.
