Stated learning outcomes:

Demonstrable competence development in laparoscopic colorectal resections with PBA level 4 achievement.
Logbook activity for more than 30 colorectal resections performed (with or without supervision) in a 6 months programme.
Clinical competencies to be achieved:

Operative competencies to undertake laparoscopic colon resections independently.
Operative competencies to undertake average difficulty laparoscopic anterior resection independently.
Assessment and management of complications of colorectal resections.
Number of main operations the Fellow could expect to be involved in:

Over 6 months:

Segmental colectomy (Performed: 10)
Anterior Resection (high) (Performed: 5)
