Helen MacRae is a leader in surgical education and minimally invasive colorectal surgeon.
She has been a leader in minimally invasive surgery for inflammatory bowel disease for over 20 years. She is program director for the University of Toronto Colorectal Training Program. She has trained many Canadian colorectal surgeons and has advanced surgical education knowledge globally.
She is a leader in the Canadian Association of Colorectal Surgeons and the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons.
